During the heavy snows of last Christmas and New Year period,Berrier seemed to be the only place flying.Roger took a lead from the Ski-piste bashers of the Alps(in his case it was a big metal farm gate - and a roller -,pulled by a diesel quadbike).The effect,thanks to overnight frosts,was a beaufitully smooth strip(if slightly narrow) ,with a stipled finish for good grip.It worked a treat - and all this on at least one foot of snow!..
