Another 'first' for Berrier.Glider pilot Tony World landed his ASW 27 glider in our big field alongside the strip at Berrier recently,after a flight in the Lakes from the EdenSoaring gliding site at Skelling. Sometimes there isn't enough lift around for gliders to get back to base, so Berrier makes a handy relief landing ground.
